Since as far back as I can remember, I've had "psychic" experiences. But before I get into all that, let me explain that I don't claim this is on command and I certainly can't predict the lottery numbers. For many years I allowed societies discomfort with this very real phenomena to supress its growth. But after so long of trying to deny it, I just couldn't any more. How did I know my grandpa would die in three days when the doctors were assuring my family he was great and would be released from the hospital? How did I know from that last meeting with him that my cousin was pregnant (she didn't even know YET)? It got to a point where I realized it didn't matter that I shouldn't have known, what mattered was that I did know. What mattered was my family and cousin knew I foretold events that came to be. (My cousin gave birth to a baby boy exactly nine months after my grandfather died and I told her he made me aware she was pregnant. He died two days after I warned family to get in their 'goodbyes'). Most interesting is at the time I figured out she was pregnant, she couldn't have been more than a few days along! Does this mean you can sit before me your ailing grandparent and I can tell you when he'll die? NO! It just seems I know when I'm meant to know, or the energy surrounding a situation is there to be 'percieved.' Everytime it happens I sit back amazed and think on it for weeks. I've come up with a theory. I don't think it's 'magic' or 'hocus pocus.' I think there is a part of the human brain, still undiscovered, OR misunderstood, that allows some to compute the intangible (thoughts, body language, past, present and future events etc.). Just like some can add in their heads while others need a calculator for the answer; psychics compute their surroundings in their head, not requiring tangible 'evidence.' it's frustrating when those without this ability speak on the impossibilities of it. |
