RESPONSIVE E.V.P.s. MAKE ME A BELIEVER  2
Written by Brandi Lynn Borgia

"Virginia has made her presence known in several ways."

It started with the evps, but that's not where it ended. When this case began in May 2008, I knew nothing about Virginia. As soon as I realized all of the evps were from the same spirit, theoretically her, I began a search for surviving family members feeling it the right thing to do. HOWEVER, I was and always will be aware of society's dismissive and often hostile attitutude toward the paranormal so it was with great hesitation that I did so. This is one of those cases in life where you have to lay emotions aside in the name of intellectual and spiritual advancement.

So sometime in July of 2008, I located Virginia's sister and called her. I literally stumbled over my words for the first few minutes and told her I understood what a strange call this must be to her. I felt so bad, yet, I'd also feel bad if I didn't try, after all maybe someone in her family is a believer in the paranormal, I reasoned. I didn't know Virginia so I assumed she wasn't coming through "just to talk to me." Her sister, although understandably stunned, didn't dismiss the idea that Virginia was around. She said she felt she'd visited her before, and could see 'swirls of energy' near her grave. She assured me that she'd get together with me upon return from a family vacation to listen to the evps (electronic voice phenomena). She even said she'd share photos of Virginia with me.

Since I didn't know, I asked her how Virginia passed away and she told me the sad story of how Virginia was on her first date and suffered massive head injuries as a result of the car she was a passenger in hitting a telephone pole. She explained Virginia was dead on the scene, revived, and taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced brain dead. Her family then made the agonizing decision to take her off life support, and she died a short time later. I didn't ask about the boy she was on a date with, but later learned he too died, instantly.

SIGNATURES

Before making the call to Virginia's sister, it came to me how Virginia died. Over the years, I began to notice that when Virginia's spirit was near, I'd get a lot of head pain. The head pain was different than any other physical feeling I'd experienced when exposed to a spirit and I soon realized this "signature" feeling ONLY came when she was around. As I like to test my psychic experiiences, I decided to tell some neighbors my impressions a few hours before I called Virginia's sister. I stated that I thought Virginia had died of head trauma/brain failure. If it was cancer, I said, it was of the brain; if she committed suicide (this was a rumor due to her poems foretelling of her own death), she hurt herself in the head, etc. I just knew she died of brain failure.

A skeptic may cry foul play, citing a lucky guess, but that's not the case. Communication with the spirit world is not like communicating in earth's reality. Sometimes you may get a direct message, but most of the time you are tracking intangible clues, and separating your thoughts from thoughts put in your mind by a spirit telepahically. >>more
